EMBRACING THE RELEVANCE OF THE PROPHETIC GIFT ON THE MISSION FIELD Edit
EMBRACING THE RELEVANCE OF THE PROPHETIC GIFT ON THE MISSION FIELD
The prophetic gift has tremendous power in evangelical ministries and the missionary field.
All of the gifts are intended to build up the body of Christ.
With the exception of the unknown tongues that do not require explanation. "He that speaks in an unknown tongues speaks to the Father" .
We can't get rid of the prophetic gift; it's been manifesting since the time of our forefathers.
God talks to His people, and as a ministry, it is critical that we receive information from our creator in addition to what is recorded in scripture to bring confirmation to what God has said in His word.
Jesus primarily engaged in the evangelical ministry, evangelizing to people wherever He went, teaching, healing, prophesying, and doing all good.
The prophetic ability is a capacity to speak God's mind in real time to the individuals He has sent you to.
It is also about exposing through night vision, revelation, or dreams.
The gift of prophecy is considerably more important, and I have provided scriptures to back this up in this piece of writing.
John 4:16-19 Jesus told her, “Go get your husband and come back.” The woman answered, “But I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You are right to say you have no husband. That’s because, although you have had five husbands, the man you live with now is not your husband. That much was the truth.” The woman said, “Sir, I can see that you are a prophet.
During one of his evangelistic missions, Jesus used the prophetic gift to win a woman's heart. Until Jesus disclosed her mystics, the woman was always contradicting Jesus' words. Sometimes it's not so much about talking as it is about stunning people with the Prophetic word so they will know the Lord is truly with you, that you are truly sent from God, and that they will believe the Lord exists and that you are speaking the thoughts of God concerning their life.
The gift of prophecy has never ceased. It will never end until the end of the world. That is the only occasion when the Prophetic gift will be lost.
The prophetic gift is one of the approaches to draw the hearers' hearts and minds towards the word.
You will not quit listening to Prophets if you are truly serious about life and ministry.
God used the Prophet Samuel to propel David and Saul toward their fate.
Hosea 12:13
[13]And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved. You need a prophet in your life. I mean a genuine one, I mean a Christcentered one, I mean a true Prophet who really see. In the olden days , the prophets were called seers and in all things the wise enquired of them whatever they did. It takes wisdom to take spiritual counsel. Yes, o yes.
"In the multitude of counselors, there's safety".I don't only take counsel from the wise nor the aged alone but I also take it from seers.
One of the reasons why most of you aren't moving forward or are stuck is that you believe seeking guidance, inquiring, or visiting a prophet is unnecessary. We are living in the Spirit Age, whether you believe it or not.
The prophetic ministry is required in the church, in the ministry, in your life, and so on. Stop destroying the prophets' ministry. It is arrogant to believe that the prophetic ministry is unimportant.
Teaching has its own role to perform, as does the prophetic. They are not the same, but they are from the same spirit. The presence of false prophets does not diminish the authority and significance of the Prophetic Ministry. God has one of his own.
Most of my ministerial acquaintances and pastors above me are not in the prophetic ministry; they are in the teaching, pastoral, or evangelistic ministries, yet they believe it is unnecessary to receive prophesies apart from the Bible, which is a mistake. It's all because you don't have or haven't been given what you need. Be humble!!!!
I know I'm young, but by God's grace, I've accomplished things in ministry that most of my friends haven't, and many have accomplished things that I haven't yet, but whether I'm ahead of them or they're ahead of me, I humble myself in everyone's presence, knowing that I don't know it all. Pride or life will make you believe you have a better Ministry than everyone else. You don't know everything.
1 Corinthians 13:9
[9]For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
There are friends who, by God's grace, I can teach what they can't because teaching is one of God's gifts to me. Similarly, there are friends who can reach places in the spirit with Spiritual eyes I haven't yet entered, but when they speak, I am quiet enough to listen because I know the same Spirit of God and anointing that teaches us all things is communicating to me through a seer. If you don't see the truth in what I've said errh, please know that you have a long road ahead of you in ministry.
Paul would not have been jailed in Jerusalem if he had truly listened to Prophet Agabus. It took the intervention of Jesus Christ to save Paul. Apostle Paul most likely erred, but Jesus Christ saved him.
1 Corinthians 12:15
[15]If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
"Therefore don't be a fool!!!" You will need an Apostle to lay hands on you to recieve spiritual gifts. You will need a prophet to tell you mystries that would have brought your 15yrs of achieving something to only one month but because you hardened your heart, you passed through unnecessary temptations in life.
People are leaving your church, Ministry, business or company and you think it's normal. You've used all strategies in prayers, fasting, wisdom, knowledge etc but you need to see Samuel. 🫵🏾🔥
1 Samuel 9:9
[9](Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to enquire of God, thus he spake, Come, and let us go to the seer: for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.)
1 Samuel 9:6
[6]And he said unto him, Behold now, there is in this city a man of God, and he is an honourable man; all that he saith cometh surely to pass: now let us go thither; peradventure he can shew us our way that we should go.
